If your car has a French Euro 6 sticker do you need separate stickers for Germany, Denmark, etc?
I've checked the RAC site, but it is inconclusive. Does anyone know if each country requires its own Euro 6 sticker, or do stickers work across other countries?
Thanks

German emission stickers called Umwelltplakette are well described on line.
No stickers are required for Denmark but some diesel vehicles must register to be allowed into centres of major cities.
Google remains your friend for information like this for other countries.0 -
Unfortunately there is no Europe wide emission sticker, if country has their own you need it to travel through. Most of these stickers are required for transit into towns and cities and arguably if you could avoid those places a sticker wouldn't be needed. Having said that they only cost a few euro's each so probably a good investment. Just be careful that you go to the proper sites to source them as you can get ripped off. For my Umwelt stickers I always used the Berlin office which seems well geared up to sending them to the UK, the sticker should cost about €6, maybe a bit more for postage? You can obtain them in Germany by going to any motor dealer with your V5 assuming they are outside of the local Umwelt zone!

A good guide to requirements is Green Zones but don't use their site to buy stickers. I think the Spanish accept the French Crit Air sticker not that they have many Green Zones.
