Site Recommendation Germany please

Hello, we are looking for a lovely site in Germany for a caravan. Near or in the Black Forest, not too big and commercial, well organised and near an interesting town or village. For a 60's couple. Good road bike riding in the area would be great. thanks all

A site we have stayed at a couple of times, albeit some years ago now is Camping Belchenblick, within walking distance of a lovely town called Staufen im Breisgau. The train station is quite near the site, only local trains not Express!

Another site we stayed at was Regenbogen Camp, at Bad Liebenzell. This is right in the town with good transport connections. The only problem is that Goggle Maps shows this site as closed but it has an up to date website?

A third site for consideration is Terrassencamping Herbolzheim,  again town within walking distance.

There are, of course, many others some of which will be suggested by others. A lot of sites in the Black Forest have a scheme called the Konus Card which which gives free transport within the Black Forest region.

    David

We've used Herbolzheim and Kirchzarten. KIrchzarten is a very big site almost all flat. Herbolzhein is just a stroll away from the village and the pitches are on terraces.
