Keep your wallet in your pocket for the first couple of trips! We can all show you a cupboard, or more, of useful for the 'van 🤣
That said, mugs, plates, cutlery. 'Borrow' from home until you understand your method of caravanning. We're all a bit different! Then have a supply in your caravan so it's ready for action, bar contents of the fridge and clothing which you add at tge last minute, as soon as you get a chance to go away.
Do be very careful to watch weight and ensure you're below your maximum.
Most of all enjoy, it's a great hobby

I agree most things in the house can be used initially but loading all the crockery, cutlery and cooking things is a bit of a bind and I would buy them. Lightweight Melamine is used by many and works well and cheap pans and the like suit us as, they do not get the intensive use they get at home. A kettle is needed, I would use a cheap normal one if you are using hook ups, if you have only a large television you would need a far smaller one. Check where it would go to see what you can fit in. Normal ones work well provided the site is in a decent reception area or has a cable fitting in the hook ups. The latter would need a cable though.

That lot apart you can use bedding and other things from home. I would make a list of what you need and check this ff as you go along.

I am assuming you have a water carrier, waste tank and the connection plus gas and do not forget the insurance.

Welcome!
