Angeiras

Options

Hello people - new to this, but would like to ask if any member has experience of a club site in northern Portugal called Angeiras. Our motorhome is just under 8mtrs long and I seem to be having difficulty in making a booking and have been lead to believe that this is because the site has small pitches which are close together and trees which form further obstacles which also then limit manuverability and access. We have been on wooded pitches before without incident, so am wondering if this site is very restrictive.
Any advice would be very welcome also any alternative sites around that location.
Thank you in anticipation.

I haven't stayed at this site so have no first hand knowledge, but the site description shows pitches as 50 square mtrs which is a bit tight for a motorhome of your size.

I think the only way to find out for sure is to give the reception office a ring. Most speak good English if your Portuguese isn't up to it (mine isn't).

Thank you JimE for your feed back. Done some more research and yes it is very tight and apparently facilities are quite “tired”. so given up on that one now. Will go somewhere else. Shame tho.

Last time I stayed in that area with a 7,5m motorhome I stayed at Camping Madalina which is another Orbitur site. There is a bus stop outside the entrance which takes you into Oporto and it is an easy walk to the beach. Trees were not a problem and pitches were of a good size.
