I forgot to name the CL site, Whins, and that it was £15 pn with EHU.

Today's location, pitched up in the walled garden that is the C&CC's Oban site, at Barcaldine.

We’re there for 3 nights in June @nelliethehooker 🙂

Enjoy your stay here, @Freddy55 there are good walks through the woods adjacent to the site and one of the National Cycleways pass the entrance. Lots to do in the area, especially if you have not stopped around here before.

Hiya @nelliethehooker . Apart from a short one day excursion from Keswick to D&G, we’ve never really visited Scotland, looking forward to it 🙂

Hope you enjoy the country as much as we do. There is so much to see that one needs plenty of time up here to take it all in. Apart from Oban where else are you visiting?

Hiya Nellie. Isle Of Skye, Glencoe, Moffat, a few nights at each, before heading back down calling in at Keswick and Kendal, all C&CC sites. We are with two other couples, so will have to make compromises when it comes to how we spend our time. That said, we’re definitely going to take the train from Fort William to Mallaig, looks glorious 🙂

@Freddy55 that looks like a great trip. We are heading up to the Glencoe site next so will post photo of it then. You will have to tell me what you think of the Isle of Skye site, as it is not one we have visited.

@Freddy55 we too have used Clent Hill site on a number of occasions and had no problem with vehicles on the approach lane, it is quite short, perhaps 1/4 ml or so. From the North you use Junct 3 to get there and back on at Junct 4.
Enjoy.

Enjoy your stay there, @peedee . Is that a CL or a club site?

Our pitch at the C&CC's Tarland site in the late evening sunshine. Still plenty of others on site, including Dutch, German and Swiss units.

Our latest site, a great CS in Angus, Gardener's Cottage. It was full last night but 2 units left this morning. Flyte is having a well earned rest under a tree at the rear of our caravan this evening.
