Greetings!

Can anyone recommend a really good site for 10 days in June, close to rail links to Lisbon (say up to an hour’s train journey). please. Cost isn’t particularly an issue but quality is. Look forward to hearing from those with personal experience. Thanks.

    The Orbitur chain of campsites are some of the best sites in Portugal. The have a couple of sites near Lisbon. I have used Camping Guincho before but did not go into Lisbon from there. I don't recall anything bad about the site. Links from there into Lisbon maybe worth exploring. Costa da Caparica is the other one.

    There is a campsite in Lisbon itself located in parkland but I have no experience of it. It has a website Camping Lisboa but it seems to be down at the moment. ACSI also list it.

    I’ve spent one night at Camping Lisboa and it was fine. I spent the majority of the time in the city so wasn’t on the site for long really. But it was safe and had a bus stop just outside that took you into the city.
