Hi. My van is listed as 560 cm high. I am looking for a new porch awning and see most online are for a height of 230 to 250. I found with my last one it’s “stretched” at the bottom on the length of the van and looks a bit of a mess. Anyone got any recommendations or can help with one that would fit well? Thanks in anticipation. Clive

@Clive Burgess are you sure about the actual height of your van? That’s over five and a half metres high🤔 I would check by measuring. Awning rail to floor.

Not sure what the figures are but it is not height. The figure is probably a miss print but you do not say where you found it.

There have been several 580 models over the years and the height and other dimensions will vary, but the standard 230 to 250 awnings should cover all of them. As Takethedogalong says the best bet is to measure it.

If the 560 cm measurement is correct, it is most likely the ground to ground measuement around the awning rail

260 cm not 560 apologies. I am guessing the rail is slightly below that and a standard awaking should fit?

@Clive Burgess we've had a number of porch awnings over the years and often taken them from one caravan to another with no problems. They seem to be a universal fit height wise.

If you have a roof mounted aerial the height would be that or if not it would include the height of the roof mounted skylights. I think you should be safe with the standard awnings, but it is easy to check this but the rail will be lower than the total height given.

Thank you everyone for the contributions. I have bought a Kampa Rally Airpro 260 porch awning today second hand but looks and feels like new and a fraction of the new price. They have excellent reviews.
