You need an Animal Health Certificate from a vet in the final ten days before you travel. Micro Chip and Rabies vaccination must be up to date at least 21 days before that.
The tapeworm treatment is with an overseas vet and must be between one and five days before you return.
Clear details on line on government website.

Hardly worth debating with your vet. whether it’s legally required or not for Belgium. If she thinks a single worming tablet would be beneficial then smile and agree. Many dog owners would do it routinely every few months anyway.

Quite frankly your vet is wrong! No requirement for worming leaving UK for europe ie Belgium. Your dog needs AHC to be collected/used within 10days and is for one trip only. £99 is going rate for online AHCs so do shop around - your own vet could be loads more. Appropriate tapeworming is required to be given by an EU vet at least 24hrs up to a maximim 120hrs before your arrival back in UK. Weve been taking our dogs to Europe since early 2000s.
