hi everyone ☺️ thought I’d come and introduce myself now that I’ve finally worked out how to use the website!

I’m Anne, I’m 34 and go out touring with my partner and my daughter in our Bailey Olympus. We are from the north east of Scotland and try to find any excuse to get out in the van when my partner is home from offshore and I’m not working.

Are there any other Scots on here? We would love to meet others who enjoy touring and would be up for weekends away as a group!

Thanks for reading!

Anne

Welcome Anne. There are indeed "other Scots" on here, although I'm not sure any of the regulars are that far north.

If you enjoy groups it might be a good idea to look at local rally centre. I'm not someone who rallies so hopefully someone will be along and point out where you might find your local one, although I do know you are not restricted to just that one.

Enjoy your touring, you live in a beautiful part of the UK.

Welcome to the forum. We are located near Glasgow but do not venture to the North East that often though.

we don’t tour round here much either, we figured having friends all over would be great so we could explore new sites in between!

hi we are from Ayrshire about 40 mins from Glasgow. We do a lot of weekends in our local area mainly And also spend a lot of time touring England we have been all over the UK over the years. Furthest north we have took the caravan was to the Stonehaven club site a few years ago and really enjoyed it

    Hi Scotvio and welcome.

I live far from you but have toured most of Scotland over the years including the Western Isles and Northern Isles. It’s a beautiful country.

Hiya Anne and welcome to Club Together. Rallying or joing groups is a good way to meet other members of the Club. I made many friends this way, sadly most have past. If joing a group interests you a good place to start would be at https://www.thescottishcaravanclub.com/

    Enjoy your days away.

@ScotVio90 We regularly tour in Scotland but tend to mainly use CLs & C&CC sites, and last year did a number of THSs, which are rallies run by some of the C&CC centres and which do not, as a general rule, require booking. The furthest North we got to last year was Nairn, but have been up to Thurso in the past. We seldom know where we will head to after crossing the border, booking sites only a week or so in advance. Hope you find others who would like to meet up with you, and as @peedee suggest you should have a look at using some of the Centres rallies, if they fit in with your free dates.
