we were on a large site recently, it has 2 toilet blocks and a couple of odd toilets. We were in the field with the odd toilets . Also there were some lovely caravans , all quite new , some must have cost £40000 plus , there was a good atmosphere there as well so we had a lovely stay.....except whoever was taking the toilet rolls , it was such an inconvenience ( pardon the pun ), but who spends all that money on a van and then steals the toilet rolls, there is a shop on site as well, open all day.

So I made sure that I carried my toilet roll with me , however my OH said that if the other people saw me with a toilet roll they may think that it was me that was doing the deed, it wasn't . However my point is that a toilet roll doesn't cost that much so please leave them so that other people can use them.

Toilet roll thefts are small fry. Someone was stealing the shower heads last time we stayed at Yellowcraig🤷‍♀️ Not all CLs/CS sites provide loo roll, probably because of thefts in the past, particularly if the facilities aren’t close to a house and overlooked. Pays to check if you use sites with facilities.

I remember being shocked that toilet rolls were padlocked the toilet roll holders when I first encountered a long drop facility on the Coromandel in NZ.

My daughter explained folk stole them.....

I suppose even that wouldn't stop the determined who could just roll it all off.

    It's a funny old world!

We've encountered showerheads going missing on sites too.

All the club sites I've been on have the same toilet dispenser, a double decker locked cabinet. When the bottom (no pun intended) roll is finished the top one drops down. Unless people are 'going equipped' it's quite hard to open the dispenser. At best, or at worst I suppose, all that can be done is pull out and unwind all the roll

So is the OP saying tat actual rolls have gone or just the paper? As PD says sounds like someone having a joke and while I don't want to be ageist it's unlikely to be adults. Were all cubicals affected

Of course it might be both rolls have run out?

This is quite a uncommon event judging by the posts on CT but either way tell the wardens so either the can restock and/or look into any pranks.

It doesn’t sound like a Club Site to be honest, from the OP’s description (shop open all day). I think adults would steal t rolls, and anything else not bolted down as well to be honest, just as much as children. They certainly did from leisure centres, swim pools I managed. A small minority, spoiling it for all.
