Is this a Club bookable site? If so have you read the reviews?

Hi Caz4Steph, that sounds like an amazing trip! Hopefully the reviews on the site pages offer some helpful insights. Regio has lots of comments on how great the amenities are. You are always welcome to call the overseas sites team for any advice needed with regards to campsites too.

I'm a bit lost on this one. Your dog is obviously an important part of your lives, so is it really a good idea planning a long holiday in an area where they are not welcome. That would surely impact upon your enjoyment, and that to me is one of the key things holidays are about.

Colin, I don't think it is a matter of enjoying your holiday less when accompanied by your dog. You just have to have work-arounds, like taking your dog in a trailer or eating alfresco at restaurants where your dog can sit under your table.
Unfortunately, it seems that many Spaniards own dogs solely to act as guard dogs, some of which are quite vocal and some are downright aggresive when you walk your own dog past their property. The concept of small "handbag" size breeds is not as common as in say France.
As far as public transport/taxis/coach tours are concerned, very few accept dogs. Likewise with beaches, many exclude dogs especially in peak months although, in the winter, many locals (and I suspect visitors as well) just ignore the signs.
We have spent many winters in Spain on trips lasting 2 months or more and have had great times with our dog. In southern Valenciana, there are very few days of rain in winter which is an added bonus compared with walking a dog in the UK rain/snow.

There are many restrictions when using public Transport in and around Andalucia and without your own dog transport (car, can, bicycle etc) you will be limited. Also some of the sites you have chosen are a little remote. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about the public transport so yes eat on the terrace and just enjoy what will be a great holiday though do book your sites as many will be very very busy with the Brits escaping the winter.
