Overnight Calais

Hi, 

Looking at getting an early hours ferry Dover-Calais and wondering what the done thing is these days for a few hours rest on arrival? Back in the day with my parents (30+years ago!) we used to park up in the ferry terminal car park. Is this still possible / desirable? Are there any other recommendations, motorway services etc.). 

All suggestions and recent experiences welcomed, cheers!
