Brittany ferries - 2025
Crossings for 2025 have gone live today. If you have access to a friends and family discount then you would be advised to use it as it heavily undercuts the clubs prices.
I've priced up Plymouth/Roscoff, out Aug 26th overnight and back Sept 18th in the afternoon. Going direct with Brittany Ferries I've been quoted £444, as opposed to a club quote of £568.

We are off to Spain next year in March. Does anyone know how to get a discount or Is anyone willing to share there friends and family club voyage membership number?
Many thanks

Agree with EribaMotters that using the friend and family discount is around £100 cheaper, and therefore £100 cheaper than CMC matched price, but Brittany require 50% deposit on booking.
Remember that getting the crossing and sites together (to form a package deal) can safeguard you if anything goes wrong.
CMC not offering discount on site/crossing combinations this year, even thought their website says they are. Deposit via CMC is 25% on booking.
Either way, enjoy your travels which ever way you choose!

Update from Brittany Ferries - F&F rewards have been withdrawn
we’ve also taken the difficult decision to withdraw the Friends & Family rewards for new bookings from the 4th November 2024. Bookings made before this date will not be affected by this change.
I’m mindful this may be disappointing for some and in an effort to retain some goodwill, we’re offering your guests, friends or family (who have recently enjoyed the outgoing discount) the chance to join the Club at a much reduced rate, details below.

i have been looking for a crossing next year and some routes have changed times ie. St Malo and Cherbourg have no overnight sailings to Portsmouth and Poole for next September/October so have looked to see what what would work and maybe a daytime sailing from Cherbourg to Portsmouth looks suitable.
Have seen the note re Friends and Families via email.

I have made a booking for next year with the "Friends and Families" discount but also not received any notification of changes.

We have just used the overnight from Le Harve to Portsmouth, it sailed at 21.15 and docked at 07.00. As its a much smaller boat it was very quick to load and unload. We had a good crossing and would use it again.
We normally use St Malo but as we changed our crossing there were no cabins available on the date we wanted.

As the booking was made before November it will stand. There was a cut off date.
Our friend who has shared his F&F discount with us for years. Sent us an email to let us know that if you phone BF and wish to join club voyager, using the F&F code, the joining fee is waived and all you pay is the yearly fee. So that would be £90 for the Spanish or £60 for the French membership.

Thanks TG will look again, we have done Le Harve before and we are not keen on that port nearly got lost the last time a few years ago with it being dark and they were changing the road signs, also further for us to go to from here, looking for next September/October car only as not using caravan in UK now.

You're welcome.
Unfortunately there is only the one overnight at that time of year always a Tuesday.
I know what you mean about Le Harve, the port was fine but the traffic getting to it even at 7pm was still very busy and in the dark which we rarely drive these days.
The crossing and cabin was good though.
