Cupboard door handle latch won’t open

Hi I have a cupboard door where you lift the handle to release the latch. The pin that lifts the latch has come out of the handle and won’t now open. I have tried in vein to get a coat hanger to try and open and tried to pull apart far enough without breaking the cupboard to release the latch but all in vein. There are no screws on the outside to take the cupboard apart to get at this. Has anyone got any ideas on how to release the latch so I can open the door and reattach the pin???

    Are you able to post a picture and/or give us the caravan make and model as this might help.
