Maybe others have had it to, but just had an email from viamichelin to say that they have re added the caravan option to their route planning. This was in a response to my whinge when they dropped the option a while back. Whether the caravan option makes any difference remains to be seen, but it’s the thought that counts.

    I have always had the caravan option in the app on my phone (Samsung), and yes it does make a difference. Eg Durham to channel tunnel 39 minutes longer with caravan.

    I like via Mitchelin for traffic reports that's all. Prefer to use my sat nav for routes set to avoid tolls in France if possible.

    We had used via to compare toll costs so good to see, just tried it, that’s it is back working again.

    Likewise. Also with it set to take account of the size of the vehicle 👍.

    After my enquiry some months ago I also received the notification that the Caravan option is back on the menu. Great news as we are in France at present and I'm impressed that they sent me an update.
