Inputting stories

I am trying to put our trip into Stories and tried to copy and paste from Word and nothing happens.

 

Any info appreciated, also want to include a few pictures.

    I have just tried it and had no problem. I can only think you are not actually picking up the text from "word" which you want to copy?

    Also, if you are copying text from Word, it won’t pick up any photos you have inserted in the document. These have to be uploaded at the bottom of the story, using the link.

    I don't usually have any problems pasting from MS Word, although I usually have to go in and edit as it sometimes tends to leave bigger gaps between between paragraphs. One of the reasons for typing in something like Word was the timeout in the Story Section. I have been so used to the copy and paste method I don't actually know if the timeout still exists?

    Don't forget to resize the photos to under 500mb otherwise they won't be accepted.

    I have given up trying.  I am not a stranger to copy/paste, been doing it for years, but for some reason it just doesn't like it.

    So you will have to remain in ignorance of my Rhine in Flames trip.
