Hi - problems with French Crit Air certificate

First trip abroad with new post Brexit rules and struggling to complete the cert-gov.fr form for emissions.

ok completing form upto the end and adding photo jpgs of V05 forks and Fiat engine plate. It responds ‘proof of registration…down …..’  jpg’s are 1mgb ish and can’t complete the form and pay

would appreciate any helpful comments thanks Gray/Adel

    I don't recall having to send a photo of the engine plate? If you pics are jpg and under 2mbs it is difficult to see what your problem is. Have you confirmed the size of your pics by checking "properties"?

    If you are trying to upload directly from your phone I suspect that is the problem as most pictures I take on my phone are in the region of 4 MB. There is an App called Image Size that will reduce them. If doing it in pixels probably select a 1000 wide would make it small enough to be accepted. If you are using a Windows PC you could probably use the programs included in Windows.

    I had trouble doing mine. You need a photo of your V5 document the inside page with all the car details on. Website kept saying photos were too big. So I took a photo emailed it to myself took a photo of the picture I sent and used this to fill in the form. Worked a treat crit air arrived a week later

    Hi

    have just done this and had similar problems first time. Then I saved my photo as PDF and uploaded that and it worked. The franch authority promises despatch in 7 days - we will see.

    Thanks so far everyone . Still on the quest after 7 day hol in Uk. From Chester area. 

    I have Uk 2012 Fiat Adria motor home EURO 5 . VO5   Private light Goods 

    An IPhone 13. Mini . 3.6 Mega pixel. + app suggested in discussion  ‘Image Size’ only 90% confident on its using it to reduce image size . Used it many way image size cms …etc with RED error in load message photO Also tried Screen prints .

    Will continue pursuing this immersions thing! !!?!!??

    Oh No . Just tried screen shot 5.2Mb. disadvantage of new IPhone.  Back to seeing if I am using my ImageSize App correctly both to give A4 and 1Mb to  <2mb. Hey Hoe .

    Do you not have access to a PC or Laptop, either your own or perhaps a fried? Much easier task if you do.

    Hi All still not sorted it,, 

    I’m using image size app ;their website and their guide is too limited, I find it difficult to set required parameters for French site upload.

    I take a photo of Vo5 which is 3mb+ and has some edging ;

    I can photo edit out the edging. I can email it to myself at 1.5mb & save in photos. Then check photo as 1.5mb but cannot get the French form to accept it when uploaded.

    I have tried also ; then converting it to PDF via app and tried loading that. Without success.

    I have used French help email support on Saturday (tel no not working on W/E). And hope help may be available Monday.

    I suspect the French don’t like my French accent when speaking it on our much travelled journeys nor 2012 Fiat Adria camper !?!

    Thanks thus far - any comments still appreciated.will try PDF route again

    Where are you going? Unless you intend driving into certain cities you really don’t need one. Give up the struggle.

    Hi thanks one and all for your help. 

    Got my email to confirm receipt of application from non government legitimate but more expensive website.

    learnt from guy who went to Paris by road for weekend that you can go into Paris Sat/Sun by car . Obviously getting income from punters more important than ‘crit air’
