Weird behaviour of CT

A strange thing happened this morning and I'm hoping someone can give me an explanation - although that may depend on the IT Dept!

Just before 6am, I went onto the CAMC website - on my laptop which is a Macbook Air with the M1 chip.  When the home page opened - just on the top left hand corner of the page was the 'normal' "Essential Maintenance" page - but it only covered a small part of the screen.  The rest was as normal so I thought I'd give it a go and see what happened.

I went into CT and it opened up normally and I made two or three posts which were all accepted (and are still there).

A few minutes later I again went to the CAMC website - this time on my iMac - but this time after getting to the home page and then selecting CT - the "Essential Maintenance" screen came up and, unlike the first time, covered the whole screen and wouldn't let me go any further - and so it stayed until about 7.30 am.

I fully expected that the posts I had made previously would have disappeared - but when I got in - they were there.

Although I consider myself reasonably 'tech savvy', this one totally baffles me.

Any ideas?

Well thats odd.

I got essential maintenance on my phone soon after 10pm last night. As one has no idea on when/how long this might last. I looked I at 0530 this morning.

I continued and read your posts and other bits. Just looked back in about 0745 same device. No sign of maintenance signs,who knows uf there's anything to notice as an improvement? 🤐

This site often throws but odd things - in the grey band below the typing box. Currently it has a p - sometimes other letters  or more than one. Never seen it on other sites. Not tech savvy in programmingetc, but generally good at using bits. I have never seen internal error message on other sites. Some tell you they are experiencing technical difficulties at present. 😉I tend to think as that being the norm on this site 😉

It was weird here too last night.
 I logged on about 10.30 ish and all was OK for a few minutes, then the essential maintenance thing appeared.    I was about to give up but went back a page and all was normal.  

Mine covered the whole page.

This happened several times, but the site was not actually down at all before I went to bed around midnight.

Yesterday at some point I had half a page of server errors and the rest as normal. This morning I looked in on uk stes and everything had reversed to 2012 then it adjusted to 2023.
