Thinking of buying the Vango Airbeam Sky Canopy to use mainly in summer. Has anyone had any issues using them?

Fitting it to a Swift Sprite.

    Evening Gaz562,

We do not have an air canopy but we do have a poled sunncamp 260 canopy, easy to put up 3 poles connect together also you still have to peg it down etc whether its poled or air, its ideal and not just for summer we also have this on Swift Sprite.

The reason for the poled option was I have seen too many people on a daily basis whilst away blowing them up not a problem for us, also the cost of ours was far cheaper and does the same job.

Sorry this probably does not answer your question but just another idea.

I have similar sentiments to above. I cannot really see the benefit of an air tube canopy when a poled version is so much cheaper and goes up in minutes.

    I fully understand your thoughts.

If a pole breaks just use the spare they usually come with if an air beam punctures who knows the cost or I would imagine you get a puncture repair kit, under that pressure would it hold.
