I'd like to know, since brexit, how long can a UK citizen store a caravan for in Spain or France? Does it help that my wife has dual nationality (UK and Irish(EU))?

There are no restrictions on storing a touring caravan overseas. Hundreds of British people do it, in barns, warehouses, storage yards and at campsites - but there are only a few UK companies which will provide insurance.

That's good news, thanks. Can you suggest any insurance companies that will give cover?

Previous posts on various forums have mentioned Shield and Towergate insurance ,  but have warned that much depends on where you want to store your caravan and how secure that place is.   Some have been refused.  If you do a careful internet search it may reveal other possible insurance companies or brokers you could approach.

We have stored a caravan in Spain for the last 15 years. (I'm sitting in it while typing this) The storage business we use insure the caravan whilst in their care, and we have winged it whilst using it.
