I don’t know about LA anyway. Whenever I use it, posts are usually repeated (the exact posts), this contributes more to having to search through, and is one of those CT website anomalies that remains unresolved. And if there is a thread of real interest to you, simply choose to follow, that way you won’t miss a thing.
Censoring items for discussion is one thing, but wanting to manipulate what threads appear where is different, and dare I say hints at controlling behaviour? Just don’t go there if it’s of no interest, it’s that simple🙂

The latest activity page is the entry page which most see when accessing CT unless you use bookmarks and bookmark some other page. As such it is the fist page you would normally see. This is certainly the case for new and casual viewers, therefore it needs to show the main intention of CT and draw people into discussion about touring and the Club.

I don’t follow that, PD. Access to LA is not obvious and even old hands on here don't always know how to find it. Opening the Club Together tab leads you to drop down choices where the forum can be accessed via Discussions. Pic 1.That’s the obvious route.
Selecting Discussions takes you to the forum front page where all the sections are listed. Pic 2. That is surely the way new and casual viewers will access it rather than the obscure path to LA.

But it isn't the top menu item in any way at all (it's the second line down and it's on the right as well) and one has to select it to get to LA, if you hover over it a number of options appear? Surely logically one only clicks on it if one wants to go to LA? And it It's not automatic and therefore it cannot be it is the fist page you would normally see. This is certainly the case for new and casual viewers, new and casuals viewers won't even know it's there.
And anyway you said but they should not dominate the front pages of a forum. It is not the front page of this forum.
To ban social posts off LA is, in my view, rather disrespectful of those posting there, surely their posts have as much right to be there as others?

They are indeed. CT still isn’t showing the very latest posts made in most sections. You have to go into each section to find these. Hence why why are still saying Goodbye to former posters, and some pets.

No, I am still getting internal server error trying to bring up LA, tapping on “Club Together” at top left of screen. Was ok up to last half hour.

It cleared for me just before my previous post and it’s still OK now. 🤷🏻♂️

I don't use LA to view forum posts I just load up discussions and scroll down through the various heading and reading the ones with new posts. I don't see that doing it that way takes any longer that going through LA? I tend to use my PC to view CT so perhaps other platforms cause more issues?

I don’t think it’s a case of issues, David, other than server errors of course, but just personal preference for viewing the posts.

Spot on, tda. I too like reading through all the latest posts, be they technical or not. It is the lack of communication from HO about the problems and EM after the promise that we would be forewarned that is particularly annoying.

I got the "Page is not available" message just new when trying to log in. I had to use a separate tab to log in and the back space on the (discussion) tab before I could post or like a post.

do they ever test their 'updates' in a separate environment prior to 'having a stab' in production?

It won't accept me signing in again!! You couldn't make it up after all the time that it was down for a suppose fix last week!

It was missing in action again around 1930.
Now I can get back in and check the latest activity. But as it ofen does, it only brings up the last 5 posts. Clicking on see more brings nothing further and the button disappears......

It’s not just latest activity unfortunately. We arrived on site yesterday and had to pay, although the balance should have been taken automatically. It’s was not just an issue with my card, it has been happening extensively since the weekends IT failure. Which apparently also resulted in the sites computer going down.

That's not good. Makes you wonder whether any bookings made since the weekend are actually booked, and whether deposits relating to bookings have been correctly recorded. I do remember reading posts about people having booked but having to ring up as the bookings didn't complete. Members who aren't active on CT, but have made a booking after the weekend, wouldn't be aware.

You really couldn't make it up...
It was off air earlier this morning when I went to glance in. Unsure of time but between 0630 and 0700. I have no idea when it came back on air, but I'm able to tune in over breakfast. From the What are you doing page I see posts, after midnight so wasn't all night.
I don't ever recall a website off air as often.... Dare I add with no improvements? And reading posts it isn't just CT parts....

I am having the same problem as before, where I am unable to access the Latest Activity page by double clicking on the Club Together header!

I can now get in but have had the dreaded message again when trying to access a discussion topic!! What system!!
