My advice, avoid Swift
We bought a 2014 Swift Challenger 565 SE, September 2018. Which I thought was from a reputable dealer and a van from a reputable manufacturer. I was wrong!
As a close relative was in palliative care we didn't get the chance to use van much in 2019 and I accidentally overlooked the service. Upon checking the van in storage I noticed the roof in bathroom was damp, when I checked the roof I discovered why, the rear panel of the van was riddled with crack along the join with the roof. I contacted Swift, but was told because I missed the Service my warranty was invalid, so I could take it to a dealer and get it repaired. However, when I called a couple of dealers I was told the panel would need replacing and it would cost thousands of pounds to replace. As I didn't have that sort of money available I tried to fix the problem myself.
Due to the Pandemic and both myself and my partner working for the NHS, again the van wasn't really used and was left in storage. When I eventually decided to try and use the van for a holiday I found the rear bathroom had mould and that the water had still managed to get in.
To avoid further damage to the van I had to get another loan on top of the loan to purchase the van to get it repaired which cost over £3,000. The replacement panel is made from a different material as Swift knew about this issue, so hopefully this has resolved the issue. However I still have vinyl peeling off my cupboard doors and cracks have appeared in the splashback above kitchen area which I've been told will cost at least another £500 to fix.
My advice would be, never buy a Swift and if you do, make sure you get the service done exactly on the anniversary or the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written and Swift Customer Service is non existent.

DF CB really sorry to hear about your problems with damp. However, it is a condition for all warranties that the caravan is serviced annually. It is probable that had you had yours serviced when due the damp would have been discovered at an earlier stage and you would have been able to have it repaired under warranty. I really don't think you are fair to blame the dealer or Swift. As you say, ensure you have your caravan serviced when due to preserve the warranty.
