overnight stop Santander ferry towards Salamanca

Hi,

planning on getting the ferry which arrives at Santander between 1pm-2pm (depending on which day). We will be heading towards Salamanca, where we plan to stop for 3 nights. But as it’s 225 miles from the ferry port, I’d rather break the journey with an overnight on that route, or not too far off it. Maybe up to 75 miles or so along.

Any recommendations that anyone has tried please?

(Burgos is a little off route, and we’ve been before, but it is a possibility. But if possible, I’d rather be closer to the route with less deviation)

    Not a recommendation but Google is showing Camping Monte Royal at Aguilar de Campoo  - 65 miles from Santander - and several others further down the road if you want to go on. . Trust the reviews !
