REPLACING A BARREL LOCK

Good Morning,

I have a new barrel for a cupboard door of my Pegasus 534,but I'm told that I have to take my caravan to my local dealer as he is the only person that can fit this back into the cupboard as he has a 'special key' and without this 'key' it is impossible to refit a barrel??   Has anyone experienced this before,and if so is there anyway I can get around this,without having the expense and inconvenience of having to take my caravan to my local dealer,for what is apparently a job that can be done in just a minute or two??

Any advice would be much appreciated...
