Morning all 🙂. My partner, 1 year old whippet (Moet) and I are travelling from Caen in our campervan on 01/05/22 for 2 weeks and returning back to Caen. Looking for route suggestions to take us to some nice warm weather near the coast - possibly Spain, ideally capturing some nice things to do on route ie Millau viaduct, visiting some nice vineyards etc. Any ideas gratefully received.

    Hello and welcome to CT.

Not done much European travel in our motorhome, but did go via Caen. Thoroughly enjoyed the area around visiting D Day beaches, cemeteries, Bayeux etc. But then I love history.

I'm sure folks will be able to assist. There's bound to be existing threads about it - finding them is the biggest challenge on this site!

Might be an idea to give a few more ideas on what you like to do and preferred sites too. Some like quiet some like all singing and dancing ones. I assume good dog friendly walking will be near the top?

If a greater degree of certainty on weather is the criteria and with only two weeks available, I wouldn't suggest going any further than Languedoc.

If you get as far as the Limoges area visit Oradeur Sur Glane. Its the site of a WW2 German SS atrocity. It's very moving. I believe there's an Aire very close by.
