Any one on site in Spain are the showers, toilets etc open or do you need to use your own facilities?

But will all sites in all areas be the same? I would send an e mail with Christmas greetings to your chosen site (s) and ask.  Have a safe journey.

We were on a total of 7 sites in Spain between October and the end of November and were always able to use their facilities.

    La Manga Rally

We are scheduled to arrive at La Manga on the 8th of January , the uncertainty as to whether we are going to be allowed to travel due to the spread of the Omicron is a real worry . I've contacted the club but they are not being very helpful just that as things stand we can still go .

Given that Holland , Germany , Portugal and France have put restrictions on travelling you would think the C&MC would cancel all the overseas Hosted Meets / Rallys and offer us a refund .

Not happy to say the least ,its a forgone conclusion that Spain will go into Lockdown

After a shaky start Spain managed the panademic well compared to many and have good vaccination rates. A full lockdown may not be the automatic response as they tend to favour regional action as already seen in Andalucia. Quite a few recent visitors have commented on high compliance with restrictions and I’ve personally witnessed that. Getting there & back of course is a different ball game completely!

    Hi,

From a Spanish FB link we receive daily news - does seem a lockdown 'may' loom. The Spaniards though are dealing with any increased restrictions on a more regional basis.

Assume you are on the Biscay Cruise route missing out restricted France ? We have our Jan 22 overwinter trip plans on hold (SE Spain via France overland) to await better news. We don't book ahead. Our preferred long stay site is pretty empty of visitors currently after almost 2 quiet years - all very sad & not very appealing.

CMC definitive advice - good luck getting that !
