Covid Certificates
Still juggling with whether to go to France or not in September using our eurotunnel booking from last year. Thought I had all the regulations sorted in my head but have now read on another forum that the names on your covid certification have to match exactly with those on your passport, in other words include your middle names, which mine does not. Will I be turned away at the border or am I worrying for nothing?

please advise. We are off on monday.I want to book day2 tests and fill in the passenger locator forms BEFORE we leave..cos i want to take printed copies of plf with us to show on the way back ( 3 weeks) This avoids worrying about tech hitches at the border and the difficulties of " just print one off" when you are travelling between campsites. Is there hitch in this plan? Im worried that there is some rule that says you have to submit the plf JUST before you leave france ...or that the barcode sent by the testing company only lasts for 20 days or something.

Pip, my understanding is that Passenger Locator Forms should be filled in on line on smart phone, tablet etc in your final 48 hours in France - but please check on websites that are more reliable than a forum.

We have NHS Scotland QR Covid vaccination codes and we are worried they will not be readable by the French Verif app. Does anyone have any experience of this? Off on le Shuttle on Monday. Also I’ve just discovered a downside of booking the Shuttle through the Club, you do not get a password so you cannot go onto the Shuttle site and go in to your booking to upload your documents in advance.
