    Hi Euror, My reticence is based on coming across groups with the exact opposite attitude-unwelcoming, unfriendly and unsociable to anyone outside their group.

    We have discussed this with our MH buddies, as we probably appear to be a mini clique-could we come across that way to others?
    We hope not, but who knows?

    I really would not worry about the meat and milk issue. In my experience and of many others,French customs are not doing any checks on this sort of thing for individuals. All they want to do is stamp your passport and off you go.
