Hi folks

We have purchased, yesterday, our very first motorhome. It's a 57 plate Euramobil Terrestra 690HS Coachbuilt. (very excited to collect it!)

Also unfortunately my car was written off a week ago so looking a replacements that can potentially be hooked up to the rear on an A frame. Was looking at a Kia Stonic for size and weight (so being able to still drive on a normal UK license). Has anyone else been able to do this without issue? The MH does not have a towbar fitted yet but that won't be an issue....

Also I am looking to get an Android head unit to fit into a double DIN in the front cabin

YUNTX [PX6+DSP] Android 10 Universal Car Stereo

Your thoughts would be gratefully appreciated

Kind regards

Pete

    Hello and welcome.

Very complex question, despite it appearing simple! Lots to consider and this very recent thread might be a good starting point......... This thread

Check that the Stonic is suitable for towing. Some hybrids are not and need to ride on a trailer.

Have you checked the weight your MH is legally able to tow as the Stonic isn’t a tiny car?

A word of caution - been there, done that, and it can be hassle but good luck.

The Stonic does come with a manual option but I would check with Kia UK as to whether they feel it suitable of towing, specially given the long warranty. The Stonic SUV is based on the Kia Rio floor pan so the Rio might be an alternative assuming you didn't want to go as small as the Picanto?

Hi Peter, you also need to ask your preferred A frame supplier if they can convert/modify the Stonic.
