Hi All,

I can't "add my outfit" on the my profile area, because on the drop down list there is no Bailey option.

How do I bring this to the Clubs attention?

Thanks

I had the same problem when trying to update the motorhome to Carthago. Whilst I can understand a 'relatively' unusual foreign make not being on the list, I am surprised that Bailey are missing.

I had the same trouble. Somewhere I found the subject in FAQs and there was a contact link. It was all then resolved by email but I could have simply made a phone call and got it sorted.

A phone call was how I did it in normal times, although email might be easier now. The Hymers that I could find on the list were ancient models and brought up the wrong dimensions and it would not let me edit them. Now they have sorted the avatar perhaps they could sort this.😀

This has been a problem for some time and I have had to ring the Club to get it changed. Just possible the reason Bailey are not there is that they have only been making motorhomes since 2011 and its been overlooked? You would have thought it was beneficial to the Club to improve this element of the website to stop a lot of unnecessary phone calls?

It’s just a mess. It would only let me put in Peugeot as a base vehicle for the AS, not Fiat, and even the Peugeot option insisted on 2008! The dimensions were also wrong.

As a second line of defence I have reported this thread to Rowena to see if changes can be made. The simple answer would be to allow owners of caravans and motorhomes to fill in their own details rather than having a drop down menu which in most cases seems not to work. Even if someone made a minor mistake in their details it is most unlikely to have a major impact on Club systems.

In somebody's defence, I joined the club yesterday and added my Bailey outfit with no issues - that was using the Safari browser on an iPad; however just checking now it looks OK on MS EDGE Chromium too.

Have tried to update my outfit details & its impossible to do correctly.

Our old van was a 2014 Vw California. New outfit is a 2021 VW California, I can select VW, I can select california, but when it comes to the year I get the choice of 2008 or other on the dropdown list. If I select other it won't accept the update as I need to input a year.

I would have thought putting a list of years from 2008 to 2021 would be the most obvious thing to put in any dropdown list where a date is required too be entered.

Strangely it must have worked in 2014 as the old van is set up correctly.

Ive then totally given up on all the other bits of info required as the answer to all the questions is "other" and although you can select "other" as an answer, its an unacceptable answer when you hit Update. & you are told to change it.

    I just give up......

I don’t recall any problem when the system first started and we put in the Abbey caravan we had at the time. However, on replacing  it with a Bailey Cadiz, it insisted it was a double axle, although it wasn’t. It took a phone call to sort that out. Switching to a Hymer MH, as I put above, it  proved impossible to update. Perhaps Motorhomes are more of an issue than caravans.

Yet another CAMC IT success story.

Given the perennial and myriad problems that exist to this day, it is primarily a total failure of senior management.
