Tunnel Voucher

I booked a standard ticket (one way) in February for travel in March 2019 and subsequently transferred it to end of August hoping we would be able to travel. I phoned Eurotunnel after trying to transfer it to April 2021, and they have now issued me with a voucher for the full amount, Valid for a year, and extendable for a further year. I think this is excellent service, as I was fully expecting to lose this crossing, and hope this info helps other members who have bookings.

I take it your booking was made direct with Euro tunnel.

We have a booking made end of June this year made with the CAMC who have informed us that it has to be taken by the end of June 2021 or we will lose it.

We are happy to use it once the FCO lift the ban, not sure if the CAMC will be as generous as the Euro Tunnel.

That was a very good outcome for you, well done Euro Tunnel

I always book direct with Eurotunnel, as crossing can always be amended for no charge, and they are available 24/7 to do this.

This is more important to me than any small saving the club may offer.

Even using Tesco Club Card vouchers you book direct with Eurotunnel so also have the freedom to change your booking. Haven't been for a while but hardly a year went by without us changing our booking dates. Good and easy system. I don't quite understand why the Club restrict you to amending a booking via them, at a cost of course? Could be inconvenient if you wanted to make a change at the weekend.
