Leaking tap because slightly melted locking tab

Hi folks - I have a leaving hose attached to kitchen tap because a tiny locking plastic tab has melted on hot wasted side - can I buy a new tab or must I buy a new tap?

    You could try a split pin of the same diameter and cut to length.
