Water System Old Swift Conquer 550lux

Hi Everyone 

I have bought an old van think 1994/1995 Swift Conquerer 550 lux . It came with 2 whale submersible pumps but they only seem to be used for filling up the Onboard water tank . If I plug them in to the side of van they work straight away no switching on or off anywhere and the tank is full , Now if turn on the taps whale micro switched the pump light comes on the display but nothing happens . Am I missing something? Is there an in-line pump that should be coming on ? I can’t see one anywhere . I also can’t even find a drain off valve for cold and hot water heater . Can anyone pls advise , Many Thanks Rob
