Correct, David, but nothing to do with the point I was making reguarding travelling from Hertfordshire to Cornwall (somehow deemed essetial) on this weekend of all times!

You, like me, obviously accept that the rules are there for a reason.

Correct again, but apparently "he" is a manager at the care home rather than a care worker.

Indeed, and I don’t doubt it. But this one, according to JV doesn’t drive for medical reasons.

I have a tiny suspicion, that there might be a small amount of confusion and misinformation driving JV’s posts, but am willing to concede that sometimes posts are difficult to understand when not face to face....

I apologise, JVB. You did write he works in a care home.

It's got a bit confusing to be honest but I now realise it's the other carer, the brother in Manchester who is a care home manager. Is that correct? undecided

In fairness to 'JVB', from what I read into the posts, I believe the brother who travelled has medical conditions not allowing him to drive, and also has a brother who manages a care home in Manchester. OK, sometimes confusion does reign in the posts and I may well be wrong.

Obviously still no good reason to travel to Cornwall frown, perhaps they could have passed on my regards to my two daughters who live there.kiss

Resonates with me, exactly how our previous pair 'Oscar and Sheba' behaved. There was a full box of toys but the only interest was what the other had laughing and Oscar the youngest was in like a shot when given the opportunity.

Again, what is the point in this,

The thread has turned into yet another gripe,

what is wrong with you lot I am not reading or taking part in this 'discussion' again

Don't travel to the south/southwest, protect all who live here, respect others.

    Goodbye.

That is absolutely brilliant! Our two are the same - if Lady has a toy or a chew, Ralph has to try to nick it even if he's got one himself do vice versa.  At mealtimes they will get half way though their own meal and then swap dishes even though they've got virtually identical contents. If one goes for a drink the other will wake up and think "what a good idea" and go to push in. Have to say it's the female of the species who's the worst culprit and she used to be when Harry was around as well!

You've really brightened up my morning with that TtDA -:thanks! 🐶🐶

    Yep, moving on.

The rules are in place to prevent spreading the disease to or from any area. Let's all stay at home and be glad the stupid ones are the minority. Good luck to the authorities in dealing with them.

Yes, please do. But avoid Manchester, touch dodgy on understanding the rules.

Grateful to all who are out there, keeping things going. Don’t forget some areas have great, on the doorstep resources. Others have to rely more on local communities, volunteers, normally overstretched NHS resources. Geography does matter, and makes a huge difference.
