Bonterra Park & Valencia restrictions 14/3/20 ?
Hi all,
Anyone on site at BP or in the region, or have perhaps travelled Alicante / Valencia / Barcelona / French Border run on AP7 today.
Any factual current update of fluid situation ?
BP reception was vague last night as to accepting any new overnight bookings.
Second hand tale from our site Reception (Almeria ) is that Valencia area is now on a total shut down.
Thanks in advance as due to head north Sunday 15/3/20..

Might be worth looking at JK's post in the Corona thread? Not sure if it covers the same area.

Hi
The Bonterra Park facebook page (it's in Spanish) states that it has closed all it's facilities and is complying with the govts. advice regarding travel.Basically it's not closed but dissuading people to travel.
It's a long way from Almeria why don't you give them a call first. You should be ok if you stay on the A7 or AP7. Try and avoid the Lorca/ Aguilas area though!!
Just a thought, the site I used to stay long term at, Marjal Costa Blanca is on total lockdown with civil guards at the entrance.
Where are you at now? what's the feeling there?

Thanks DK & JK,
We are currently at Mojacar Northern Almeria, peacefully sited but desire a prompt return due to a medical referral requirement. Usual panic buying and resort & beaches are now closing down.
Seems most sites are now operating a similar stance to ours with no new arrivals. We normally do BP / Beni en-route.
There are some from our site who have left today & yesterday so awaiting reports from their routes to French border points & to Biscay UK Cruise ports.
Awaiting Spanish Govt announcements also this afternoon which may impose strict travel restrictions - we'll see.
Sadly third hand rumours not assisting anyone.
