CAMC 10amp Electric?

I see Drove Lea has expanded a bit. It now has 40 electric pitches at only £12 per night plus metered electric. Last time I was there in the summer it cost me just £1 per day for electric. That is a lower cost than the Club's low facility sites and the local CLs.

...but it would with others....
you may not be 'boasting' (though whats that got to do with anything i dont know...) but others naturally have an aversion to waste, i certainly do...
ill turn a light off if leaving a room....Lord knows it was drummed into me for long enough by my parents....even if i can easily afford my electric bill...
why would anyone leave apppliances running when not needed, or lights on or....
when the cost gets added to your bill, it gets noticed, i dont care who's bill it is.
im sure there would be a real reduction in power used (especially during summer months) by those whose vans have solar power....most of the later MHs and a good deal of those who have after marketed them.
in decent weather (i assume we will still get some, sometime, back home...) its just not necessary to plug in for tv, water pump, SOG vent, cooker fan, lights etc, etc when 12v is already built in and the batteries charged
..why waste all that lovely power and then pay someone else for a similar batch from a bollard? it just doesnt make sense.
mains could still be connected for those who (say) wanted to run their fridge or some other mains-only devices, but even then with a bit of mix and match there would be a decent saving in power used and cost to the club and customer.
i really dont know why you are so anti the view that some are more likely than you to 'change their spots' and turn a light off

Hi everyone,
With regards to the OP, I have spoken to my colleagues from the UK Sites team who have advised there is no move toward a lower supply of amperage and the Club will remain with the 16 amp standard.
There are a very few pitches on Club sites that only have 10 amps. These will, when redeveloped be updated to 16 amps (for example Cayton Village).
I hope this helps address the OP's question. With regards to the discussion, I have had a few reports so will need to close the conversation for review. Please can I ask members to abide by the Community Guidelines despite having different views and opinions. We need to work together to ensure Club Together is a friendly online forum where we can discuss topics constructively. Many thanks.
