Bilbao to Vilamoura March 8th

We are travelling on the Portsmouth Bilbao Ferry on March the 8th at 23.00 hours getting us into Bilbao Tuesday at 7am , we are travelling down to Vliamoura . We are an 8mtr Motorhome towing a 5 metre trailer any advice on route stop overs would be gratefully welcomed as this will be our first time travelling down to Portugal .
