Has anyone experience of how to fit an awning to an autosleeper symbol/symphony/harmony rain/roof gutter please? I thought figure 8 would clip onto its top edge but it can't. It's a 2001.

If you haven't already joined, may I suggest the AS Owners Forum where there are a lot of helpful and knowledgeable members.

Good advice Tinwheeler. It’s an excellent forum.

Of course, most motorhomes have a built in wind-out canopy and I am not sure that you can actually fit an awning although a retrofit fixed canopy must be possible (but not cheap). The problem with the Symbol and other van conversions is that there is so little storage space you have to be extremely frugal. I would love to know where you would store an awning in transit. On the floor I guess?

    Thanks, HG.

I'm not sure if it can be done either but, if it’s possible, there’ll be someone on ASOF who knows.
