Hi all

we will be heading to Camping Arregg having visited previously and are looking for recommendations for a stopover enroute from Amsterdam.

Ideally we prefer a site with resteraunt or takeaway facilities and have a local supermarket for cheap fuel refill for before heading back to the motorways.

Thanks in advanvce

Jeff

I assume that you'll be heading down through Germany but not sure which route you'll be taking.

If heading down past Koblenz on the A61 on the south side of the Rhine then try Camping Aumühle at Schweppenhausen. It's used to overnight stops and you'll be able to park in front of your caravan or even remain hitched up. It's not far from the motorway network and serves basic cafe type meals that most overnighters seem to find acceptable. It's in the ACSI scheme if you have that.

Maybe you can let us know which route you'll be taking.

Assuming you're travelling down through Germany, we overnighted at Camping Prumtal in Oberweis on many occasions after recommendations on here. It has a fabulous restaurant on site with top notch facilities. It's also just 20 minutes drive to Vianden (Luxembourg and very cheap fuel) and then onwards whichever route you wish to take into Switzerland
