West coast of Ireland
Hi
We will be touring the west coast of Ireland in June/July. Recommendations please for good sites. Touring with a Bailey Senator Indiana single axle. Also tips of any kind would be welcome.
Thank you

How do you define "a good site"?
I recommend that you contact the Irish Tourist Board and request a copy of their excellent "Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Guide". When we visited Ireland in 2018 we found this guide invaluable. In it you will see in some entries a symbol for Camping Key Europe. This is a card available for a few pounds - I think it may still be available from the Club - you will need to check. Typically in 2018 the card offered a euro or 2 euros discount per night. It's not much but after a few nights we were saving money. (Some sites didn't offer the discount in July.)
One tip received from at least two Irish chaps - if you wish to stay at Doolin for visits to The Cliffs of Mohar and possibly the Aran Islands stay at Nagles site rather than O'Connors. We stayed at Nagles over part of the early May Bank Holiday weekend, only phoning the day before. Not only did we have a choice of pitches we had a choice of areas on the site.
We also liked Keel Sandybanks on Achill Island.
