Tour du Mont Blanc-Motorhome storage

Hi all,

we're hoping to complete the Tour du Mont Blanc this year and wondered whether anyone knew of somewhere fairly close to Chamonix/Les Houches where we could safely store our van for about 2 weeks?

    An ambitious plan - I am envious.   It might well be possible to leave your Motorhome on a campsite for that length of time - what they call garage mort -  and probably pay 4 or 5 euros a day.

    You could perhaps contact sites further up the valley from Chamonix such as Camping du glacier at Argentiere or Camping les Montets at Vallorcine which are probably conveniently placed on your route and see what they say. They are probably well used to people tackling that tour on foot.

    Sounds exhausting. I'm thinking of taking the Tramway du Mont-Blanc this summer. Strenuous enough for me.
