Overnight sites near Limoges

Since the closure of Camping Uzurat, I'm struggling to find a convenient alternative site close to the A20, apart from the Castels Site which is expensive and has antiquated cold facilities in late April (stayed twice)

Any suggestions please

camping Montreal might fit the bill, only stayed the once, i think 30 minute drive into Limoges, a little bit quirky  but we stayed for 5 days once on one of our return trips from Spain.

Same as Rufs we stayed there last year on the way to UK and return 1 night each way about 5-10 minutes from J42 of A20 well signposted

Camping de Montreal, 87380 Saint-Germain les Belles, it is open all year although only part of the facilities are open in the quieter months but very clean and plenty of hot water, run by a friendly Dutch couple as rufs said a bit quirky but good views over the local lake and a short walk into the village.

Agree that Camping de Montreal is a good overnight stop. ACSI (I think) so reasonable. Popular overnight stop for Brits travelling to Spain. Pitches either side of the lake road quite flat but those up the hill rather sloping and less convenient. Restaurant on site but we haven’t used it.

Camping Municipal Les Greves  at Aixe Sur Vienne is a nice option. Added plus is that if you want to go in to Limoges there is a handy train service.
