Ton of fun

I read the Ton of Fun article in the MCC mag.  I thought hey - they are starting to look at the costs.

After reading the article I set to find out how much the trips would cost my family.  I made some assumptions. The car parks were free.  The prices were the same all year round and the CL site didn't charge extra for more than +2  (I have to go away in the school holidays, like all law abiding families do now).

The £100 spend was £197 for me (I took on all the family discounts. It would've been approx. £30 more if I hadn't).

I'm wondering if I am the only one who is feeling the pinch raising a family and holidaying peak season as I have no choice.

We’ve no children at home and have to take our holidays at peak season and it looks like that’s going to be the case until I’m nearly 80🥴

I think many are feeling the pinch. I wonder if wurley has thought about using temporary holiday sites, run by the other club. Usually about £9 a night for 2 adults and many children. We use them to avoid high prices and badly behaved children.  Yes there are children on site but seem to know how to behave.
