It might be in a better place, leveller, have a better view, in the sun, in the shade, not under trees, near to friends staying on site etc. etc. !

...but we'll have to wait to find out what a 'new booking experience' might be.

could be nothing to do with the pitches or pricing or spacing or .... might just be a change in font colour on the websitewink

I tend to agree with you. We stayed at this site earlier in the year and will certainly look forward to returning once the refurbishment is complete. Personally I think its in a better location than the Bridlington site. I think the thing that surprised me about the plans is that there is no inclusion of a Club House/Swimming Pool complex given the amount of space there is on site. Do you know what sort of reaction that may have got locally?

I have no idea although it had crossed my mind that it would be a possibility, presumably the income from seasonal tourers will be greater than from a club house/pool.

Having recently lost my storage in west Yorkshire I was hopeful as it would have been a handy site on a regular basis.

The members of the Methodist Church congregation I spoke to were very positive as more visitors had attended since the club had taken over.  It is a lovely refurbished church with an amazing stained glass window that, on a sunny day, projects on to the carpet.

    See you on site!
