Maybe its time the community manager reviewed this situation. Over to you Rowena ?. Without differing opinions and frank but polite  discussion on an issue raised by a member what is the point of a forum.   Like has been said, I participate on other forums and rarely is a thread locked down, surely just removing comments is sufficient if its seen as against the rules.

    It would be nice if whoever was closing these legitimate threads would have the common  decency to post the reason for doing so.

    No there is not but there is something about duty of care to it's staff.

    Is there a comunity guideline that says the club and the actions of its officials are beyond reproach and nothing they do can ever be questioned?

    Have you looked at the guidelines David? The constitution of the United States is more brief!
