Hi, to all on this lovely sunny day in lovely County Durham . As my previous discussion about my control panel, when we are setting off all the correct lights that need to go green do apart from the small led light on the car pic it is staying an amber colour.  All i need to know is should it be a green led light & not amber & if it should be green what is wrong?? am i doing something wrong???

Wendy......if the LED for car battery also went green, I would be worried as the green generally indicates what is in use,  On our control panel, we have green for when a battery is being used and red for when it is not.

I think you are worrying too much, but I suggest you head to the Swift forum, SwiftTalk where you can ask the question of the manufacturer and likely also get help from Sargent who make the panel.

As you say, there is no reference to different colour LEDs in the instructions, which is not entirely satisfactory.

What happens with the LEDs if you are connected to the car, ignition OFF and select the car battery?

You will get the best advice if you can give the model number of your panel.

I found this, is your panel the 442 model?  There is an interesting bit on page 5 regarding what the LEDs should be doing when you are hitched up with engine running.  Is this what happens with your panel?
