It appears that why the Truma combi boiler in my 2009 Swift Bolero stopped working on mains electric in France may be a blown 10amp 240volt fuse   due to an irregular power supply. possibly at the  site near Paris where I first encountered reverse polarity. Do I need  to get the dealer to change this fuse or is there any easy way to do it myself?

I have never managed to find the reset button, I do not think my version of the Truma combi has one despite the Swift handbook saying it has.

When I have needed to reset in the past I simply removed the 12 volt fuse and reinserted it which seemed to cure the problem. but now it seems  I need to find and change the 240 volt fuse?

If you do not have the appropriate handbook which has a diagram showing the location of the two fuses you can download it from the Truma site.

The reset button on our combi is near the 10A quick acting fuse under the top connection cover on the 12V side. The other fuse also 10A quick acting on the mains 240V electric is under a cover down the side of the boiler . This was not easy to access because it faces the caravan wall with restricted space. I used a long arm mirror to help in renewing it.

Both 12V and 240V electric supplies must be fully disconnected before opening either cover and renewing the fuses.

it is there and very difficult to find, it does NOT have a red button as shown but a recessed hole. I pressed it in with a pencil and it popped out.

The terrible design, or rather fitting of the unit facing the outer wall doesn't help.
