    about that time I bought a LED watch - the ones that only lit up for a few seconds to tell the time when you pressed one of the side buttons 

    I thought I was the bees knees!

    For the last 20 years or so have always worn the cheapish Casio waterproof sort. It means I can wear it swimming for timing purposes. Less need now though, as since my cataract opp I can see and more importantly read the clock.😀

    No  but  neighbour  came  round  at  midnight   on  New Years Eve  to  see  the  date / time  change  in  COLOUR  surprisedwink
