Home from home
Sold the house but we might have a 2+ month gap between moving into our new home. Will use the MH for the interim period. Any ideas for reasonably priced way of doing it? Based on NW

CLs, you can stay as long as 28 days on one you like. Why not talk to an owner, they might give you a good deal if you stay a long time. Or a small private site. We have known folks stay a long time on sites while house hunting and selling. Or if you like variety, tour round a nice area stopping on Sites you like. Club Sites will be expensive, depending on time of year, but there are some cracking CLs and private sites, with lots of facilities. We used to do a month at a time in Cornwall, around £10 per night. Used local laundrette in town once a week for clothes wash, while we did a shop. All depends what facilities you need.
Hope things go well for you😄

If you are still working seeing what sort of deal for a long term stay by pitch providers locally is in IMHO a good suggestion by takethedogalong. Worth a phone call or even turning up to check out sites that may appear suitable for you and your outfit. (bear in mind you may need HS at this time of year). Sorry can’t offer any suggestions for the NW you mention in your post. Searching your preferred area on google maps and/or ukcampsites.co.uk may find some. Good luck, hope all goes OK.

Long term stays are not uncommon (not on CLs I hasten to add). We bought a caravan from a gent who used it as his Northern work base. He lived in South, worked a great deal overseas, but needed a base close to his business HQ. His solution was a rather nice old but superbly built caravan. It was linked into mains water and flush toilet sewage system on a neat and tidy farm.
Another couple we met spent 6 months in a caravan on a Cornish site we use, private, while they were waiting for building work to be completed on their house close by. Lots of farms have planning permission for static caravans that provide accommodation for seasonal workers who do the harvest of crops and carry out other work.
