Faulty indicator

Looking for some advice currently on site.  before leaving we did the usual checks and all was working fine, however part of the way down a passerby informed us there was a fault with our light. After checking it would appear that when ever the car lights are on one of the rear indicator lights also comes on as a solid light.  the indicators work fine as long as the car lights are off. Has anyone come across this before.

We have a 2014 bailey pursuit

    sounds like an earth problem on that particular light cluster. see if you can remove lens and check for water/rust/damp. also check the plug and socket at car and spray with WD or similar.

    Great thanks. there was water in the housing. All cleaned out and back working.

    I think it was caused by being over zealous with garden hose during my predeparture clean. 

    Only our third outing so the response was very much appreciated and I dare say there will be more questions from me in the technical section over the coming months.
